Dhyanyoga Centers Chai Spice Mix
Aromatic, Spicy, Warming and out of this world. The chai spice mix favored by many at DYC retreats and at home.
Ingredients:
Org Ginger root pwd, Black Pepper fruit pwd, Org Cinnamon bark pwd, Clove fruit pwd, Org Nutmeg seed pwd, Org Cardamom seed pwd
Chai Recipe (for 1 mug)
Pour 1/2 mug of water into a pot
Place on burner, med to high heat
Grate 1″ fresh ginger root into pot, more if you want it to have more “bite”
Add (1/8 tsp of Chai Spice Mix
Add 1 tsp favorite Black or Green Tea
Bring to a boil and add 1/2 mug of milk. Stir as you bring to a boil. Remove from burner. Stain in a strainer into your mug.
Add sweetener to taste. Enjoy!
