Chakra Bhedan greatly accelerates the clearing of any subtle blockages that may be impeding one’s spiritual evolution. Dileepji describes chakra bhedan as "the next best thing to shaktipat." Those who have received shaktipat—particularly more than seven years ago—will greatly benefit, but shaktipat is not required to benefit from these recordings.
Chakra Bhedan 1 will focus primarily on the first two chakras: the Muladhara and the Svadhishthana, and each subsequent recording will build upon the previous ones. Anandi Ma and Dileepji recommend that disciples continue with this set of practices for about a year before proceeding to the next DVD in the series.
In this series of recordings, Anandi Ma and Dileepji work on opening individual chakras by chanting the specific bija (or seed) mantras associated with them, and they provide instructions on how to continue the practice on a regular basis to maximize the benefits.
Shakti: An Introduction to Kundalini Maha Yoga, written by Dhyanyogi, is recommended as a study guide throughout the Chakra Bhedan series.
