Hanuman and Ganesh from the temple in Bhandwar.
The divine forms of Ganesh and Hanumanji are called the Mangal Murti. Together they represent all auspiciousness. There is tremendous significance to standing Hanuman and sitting Ganesh. The two of them together work wonders and bring greater depth. Have them in front of your eyes and hold the vision in your heart.
The temple in Bhandwar is very unique. When Guruji took me to Bhandwar, he said “I have to show you Bhandwar.” I am taking photographs and poor Ganesh is sitting there in the corner and, you know, no one pays attention to him. I was all focused on Hanumanji— for obvious reasons—and then Guruji walked over and said,“Take a picture of both of them together and put them on your altar. It will make a big difference in your spiritual growth.”
