For those who would like to chant for bringing rain and ending the drought on the U.S. West Coast (or anywhere in the world where there is drought), Anandi Ma provided a mantra we can use in our individual practices. Dileepji pointed out recently that the weather everywhere is so out of balance and that this mantra would be good for anyone to use anywhere, to help with fire, drought, floods, etc. This download is a casual recording to guide with pronunciation of the mantra. The written mantra is also included with the audio file.

Important note: Be sure to add the "om kleem" at the beginning of each repetition and "kleem om" at the end of each, as shown in the text. These bijas ("seed" mantras) were given by Dhyanyogi to boost the energy of this mantra for the purpose of its action. If you would like more in-depth information about the mantra, click here to visit the replay of Anandi Ma and Dileepji's discussion of the rain mantra.
